The short version
Peeka doesn't collect personal data. It has no account, no analytics inside the app, and it never sends anything about your use to us.
What the Mac app reads, locally
- Time since your last input. How many seconds since you last pressed a key, moved the mouse or touched the trackpad. Peeka never sees what you type or click.
- Whether your camera or microphone is already in use by another app, so Peeka can hide during meetings. Peeka never turns on, watches or records your camera or microphone.
- Whether a video is keeping your display awake, and whether a video or slides app is full screen, so Peeka doesn't interrupt a scene.
All of this stays on your Mac and is used only in the moment. Your settings and break counts are stored locally in macOS preferences.
This website
If you join the waitlist we store your email address, the time you signed up and the page that referred you, only to email you about Peeka's launch and updates. We never sell or share it. Reply to any email or write to hello@meetpeeka.com to be removed.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive your email and purchase details to deliver your license and handle refunds. We never see your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.
